Shout-out to a great artist and friend

Hi! I recently decided to get more involved in the community. I've never been a big social-network person, but DA has a lot of good intent behind it and I would love to pay some small respect to the amazing people on here. I will try to expose the work of people who are not affirmed artists... those people already have enough ;) For now I will give shout-outs to artists that are on their way and becoming (or are) amazing and whith whom I feel some kind of connection. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- First in line could be nobody else but ~Nosephire (https://www.deviantart.com/nosephire) NOSEPHIRE! You're staring at a blank page with no ideas about where to go or how you're going to get there. The image is so familiar, it's cliché. Yet no matter how many times we write about it, sing about it, or think we've gotten rid of it, we always end up returning to that sheet of paper as empty as our minds. If you're mid-story and wondering where to go, this guide is unlikely to help you. You may want to try "Beating the Block," which lists a few scene ideas. If you're a visual artist and came here by mistake, try the "Art Block Banisher." However, if you just want to put something—anything—on that piece of paper, this guide

This is why you (and your art) get ignored.

People often get the sense of being ignored in the art-scene, especially here online. We all try so hard to get our foot in the door, it's like trying to stuff yourself in an overfull bus like a sardine in a can. Sometimes you just want to socialize with other artists you admire and you seem to be talking into a brick wall or perhaps you've send your portfolio to a company over a dozen times and still don't even seem to get the smallest response or feedback. I will try and tell you WHY you get ignored and HOW you can get noticed instead. I will go through the following cases of being ignored: :bulletgreen: Your comment. :bulletgreen: Your

Passion, Commitment and Reality

Making it big, achieving the goals you set out to and focusing on the working morale behind that style of life. Are you after a career, a title, a recognition of somekind? Or you one of those few who just want their goals achieved, no matter what other people think of you? These past three months I have made a lot of important experiences observing various kinds of artists. And there are an unbelievable amount of artists that pursue art for the career, title and recognition, believe me. Some of them are marketing geniouses, some of them are very benevolent, some very realistic and again others very haughty. And that's not something to be
